Share a shopping list
With Fajo you share a list by invitation link or QR code. Every member sees the same list and can edit it.
What does sharing mean?
Several people view and edit the same list. Changes are synchronized between devices so nothing is bought twice or forgotten.
Send an invitation
Open the list, open the menu next to the new item field and choose to share the list. Fajo shows a QR code to scan and offers to share the invitation link below it.
Accept an invitation
Opening the link leads straight into the list. Alternatively, tap join list on the overview and scan the QR code with the camera. An invitation is valid for 24 hours; afterwards you simply create a new one in the share screen.
Manage members
The three vertical dots at the top right of a list open the members view, showing who currently has access. If you created the list, you can remove members there. Below that, Fajo lists people you already share other lists with – a single tap adds them directly, without an invitation.
Signing in
Sharing and joining both require an account with an email address so the list can sync between devices. There is no password – you sign in through a link sent by email.
Spotting shared lists
On the overview a small people icon with the number of members appears next to a shared list. If you did not create a list yourself, the last menu entry reads leave list instead of delete list – you only remove yourself.
